Yummy Easter Egg No Bake Chocolate Nests

Could these be any cuter?? I saw these over at Maken the World Cuter and had to make some right away!! They take about 5 minutes to mix up!

Mackenna's class is in for a Hoppy Easter surprise for the last day of classes tomorrow,bring on Easter Break!!

Maken the World Cuter posted this recipe;
3 c. oatmeal
1 t. vanilla
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk (I used chocolate soy milk)
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
In seperate bowl combine oatmeal and vanilla
In heavy saucepan combine the remaining ingredients, stirring until just melted (I did one minute in the microwave)
Stir hot mixture into oats and vanilla mixture
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper
Refrigerate until cool

To make nests, just stick the eggs in the cookies, you can do this before putting them in the fridge or after they've cooled.

  1. Thanks for following me! I love your blog, I'll follow you too! I just made these with my son, such a yummy easy treat!

  2. These are my ALL-time favorite cookies. My mouth is watering!
    I never thought to make them into cute little nests. Thanks for the great idea!
